Data forms the core of the systems that breed Houseful experiences for Estate Agents, Landlords, consumers, and bank lenders. We are on the lookout for a Senior Data Engineer to develop our advanced analytics and real-time big data platform, and implement our vision of creating a suite of highly valuable and renowned data products.
Answering to the Data Engineering Manager, this role implies supporting the designing and delivering of data-focused technology solutions for Zoopla and its three business units; Homes, Hometrack and Software.
These technology solutions will embody our strategies for Houseful's overall data scenery, data models, taxonomies and reference data hierarchies, data governance, and supervision, and data monetization opportunities.

Essential Skills:
A passionate engineer with previous commercial data engineering experience. Capable of supporting and guiding other team members. Must be comfortable working in a dynamic environment with a certain degree of uncertainty, and working with SQL / NoSQL. A proponent of languages, tools on the job to ensure the product's competitiveness in a rapidly evolving ecosystem. Should have a positive, cooperative mindset and a desire to provide tangible business value to the customer.
Technical Skills:
Requisite experience using Amazon Web Services (Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Step Functions), Terraform, Python, Spark, Kinesis being an added advantage, Docker or ECS, DBT, knowledge on a modern orchestration tool such as Airflow, Dagster, Prefect is desirable, as well as experience running machine learning pipelines in production.
