Job Description

• Shape the future: You will work alongside data scientists to build scalable and dependable AI solutions. You will contribute to product development and design tools for our end-users. You will directly impact the creation of new and exciting AI solutions that will transform Bosch’s products and processes.

Qualifications

• Excellent degree (Bachelor or Master) in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience in managing an Apache Kafka cluster.
• Experience in processing large datasets, demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable code.
• Processing large data-sets with libraries such as numpy/Pandas and Dask or the tidyverse.
• Knowledge of concepts and principles of distributed computing is a definite plus, as is knowledge in relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), and modern, scalable storage technologies (e.g. S3). Preferably, you have had initial exposure to writing code in a team setting, including best practices such as continuous integration, code-review, pull-requests.
• Demonstrated cloud experience, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in communicating with stakeholders.
• Experience in leading technical discussions and coaching other team members.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).

• Preferably residing near Braga.
