Team Introduction: Data Intelligence Platform (DIP)

Our DIP team excels in automating specific business processes end-to-end (E2E), enhancing performance, integrating systems, collecting data, and offering insights. We develop and manage systems and dashboards while extending processes through collaboration with related systems such as Selection, Pricing, and Retail to increase efficiency through data provision and system support.

Role Overview: Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer in the Data Intelligence Platform, you will engage in significant business projects, simplifying and understanding web-platforms and processes from a business and customer impact perspective and proposing architectural-level solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders and Program Managers to design systems, establish deployment plans, and conduct quality control through system monitoring. You will maintain high standards in your domain, contribute to the legacy systems troubleshooting, participate in architectural reviews, and lead the technological education and growth of peers and junior developers. Excel in maintaining data integrity, creating new data pipelines or modifying existing ones to support varied operations, and engineer new frameworks to enable real-time data generation and consumption.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience developing with Kotlin, Java, Spring framework, etc.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language among Kotlin, Java, Python.
• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in Backend Engineering and Data Engineering.
• Experience in designing and operating data pipelines in cloud environments like AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases such as HBase, MongoDB, Dynamo DB, Cassandra.
• Experience with large-scale data handling using big data platforms like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Yarn, etc.
• Ability to manage API failures and monitoring in system architectures.
• Understanding of probability, statistics, and data fundamentals.
• Strong communication skills necessary for project leadership and collaboration across various organizations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering.
• Experience leading system architecture design.
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale software infrastructures.
• Experience in automating manual or repetitive processes.
• Experience with improving slow queries and optimizing the design, development, and performance of web services.
• Utilization of Airflow, Hive, Hadoop in service development and operations.
• Experience or high understanding of CI/CD in MSA environments.
