Senior Data Engineer (Data Warehouse Engineer)

ManpowerGroup Greece is currently recruiting for a Senior Data Engineer (DW Engineer) on behalf of its client, a company providing Managed and IT Services to Enterprise clients.

Workplace Location: This position is based in the Northern Suburbs of Athens, with a Hybrid working model available, or at the Clients’ location.

Your role will entail:

You will be a part of the Data Engineering team and take an active part in the end-to-end design and implementation process, to facilitate successful delivery of the company's projects to Enterprise clients.

Your responsibilities will be: 

• Cooperating with multiple teams to develop and support applications across various product lifecycle environments.
• Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
• Formulating functional requirements for design input.
• Contributing to the design and documentation of the solution.
• Constructing and deploying the solution.
• Designing data warehouses.
• Establishing and maintaining strong, trustful relationships with clients.
• Conveying findings to client executives, in coordination with our client's application development project management team.
• Executing activities and deliverables according to the plan.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of professional experience as a data warehouse engineer or in an equivalent role.
• Experience in .NET, Java, or C/C++ development languages.
• Detailed knowledge of all phases of a Data Warehouse development Lifecycle.
• Experience with Power BI or Oracle BI.
• An effective team player with problem-solving skills.
• The ability to learn, adapt, communicate, and organize.
• Proficient client-engagement skills in both Greek and English.

Nice-to-haves: 

• Experience with Azure data platform, data analytics, and/or cloud technologies.
• Experience with Reporting tools.
• Experience in documenting both new and existing processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Technologies (SSIS, SSRS).
• Experience with SQL Server.
