Job Description

As a Senior Data Engineer at Srijan Technologies in Gurugram, you'll join our agile product team as a skilled member tasked with designing, building, and maintaining state-of-the-art data pipelines. Utilizing tools like Databricks, SQL, and Python, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, developers, and stakeholders to ensure our data solutions are robust and align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement efficient ETL/ELT solutions involving data extraction, transformation, and integration.
- Develop batch ingestion pipelines and maintain data integrity and quality.
- Craft complex SQL queries and optimize performance through tuning.
- Utilize Python for task automation and unit testing with frameworks like Nutter, Unittest, Pytest.
- Ensure version control with systems like Git and maintain CI/CD processes.

What We Look For

- Proven experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark™, Cloud Native, Data Lakes, and Databricks.
- Strong background in data modeling, warehousing, and integration.
- Excellent problem-solving, documenting, and communication skills.
- Experience in the retail domain and familiarity with the Azure cloud platform is advantageous.
