Job Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer (f/m/x) in AI & Satellite Data

We're on the lookout for experienced Data Engineers to join our dynamic team. At LiveEO, you will leverage satellite imagery and AI to generate valuable insights that drive critical decision-making across diverse industries. For instance, our technology precisely detects tree heights in high-resolution imagery, helping protect power grids from tree fall hazards.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines to efficiently handle large volumes of raster data.
• Orchestrate and automate data workflows using orchestration engines like Prefect.
• Continuously improve data processing frameworks, addressing challenges related to digital elevation models, including disparity matching and offset-correction.

Your Profile

• Over 5 years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines, with a strong background in managing large datasets, particularly raster data.
• Proficiency in Python, with a focus on writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• A proactive problem-solving approach, with a willingness to explore and navigate diverse topics, driving innovation to enhance data quality and process efficiency.
• Understanding of geospatial data applications and processing techniques is a significant advantage.
