Job Description:

As a Senior Data Engineer at Provectus, you will play a crucial role in tackling various technical challenges while collaborating with our multidisciplinary team of data engineers, machine learning engineers, and application developers. This position offers a chance to contribute to exciting open source projects like ODD and UI for Kafka, develop internal solutions, and participate in cutting-edge R&D activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with clients to understand their IT environments, business requirements, and digital transformation objectives.
• Collect, manage, and analyze large and diverse data sets.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to develop robust data pipelines for Data Products.
• Design and implement effective data models that integrate various data sources across the organization.
• Create, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines.
• Develop, test, and continuously improve data-driven solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Expertise with multiple Cloud Solutions (AWS preferred; GCP and Azure valuable).
• Proficiency in Cloud Data Platforms like Snowflake and Databricks.
• Skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies, including Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Ability to manage both real-time and batch data flows using tools like Airflow, Kafka, and Spark.
• Experience with programming languages essential for data engineering, such as Python and SQL.
• Capability in building scalable APIs and generative AI applications.
• In-depth understanding of Data Governance covering Quality, Security, and Cost Optimization.
• Advanced or fluent English language skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and talent for collaboration in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Certifications in AWS, GCP, Azure, or Databricks.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, QuickSight, or Tableau.
• Knowledge of Data Mesh architectures and classical Machine Learning tools and tasks.
