Position Overview:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will lead the design and construction of scalable data architectures and pipelines to support our business needs. This involves extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from diverse sources, ensuring data consistency and integrity, building and maintaining robust data warehouses and lakes, automating data-related tasks, and using creative cloud solutions with a focus on Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data architectures and pipelines.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources to ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
• Automate repetitive data processing tasks.
• Work collaboratively on cloud platforms, primarily Azure, with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer role or similar capacity.
• Deep knowledge of SQL databases and comprehensive understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with big data frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with data engineering tool Databricks on Azure.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary Range: $135,000 to $140,000 per year
