Role Purpose

Our Digital Experiences team is looking for a driven, naturally curious Senior Data Engineer to develop cloud-native Big Data solutions within our global Media ecosystem. Operate in a massive data environment, leading the design and delivery of innovative solutions that position P&G among the top digital advertisers globally.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver digital solutions using Agile & DevOps practices.
  • Lead the design and development of cloud-native and high-performance Big Data solutions using Python, Google Cloud, and more.
  • Address large-scale data and computational challenges, including petabyte-scale solutions.
  • Transform business requirements into detailed technical designs.
  • Conduct technical research and prototyping, and lead estimation and proposal efforts for data-intensive components of projects.
  • Write and review efficient, testable code that upholds company and industry standards for quality and security.
  • Mentor and support the professional growth of fellow engineers.

Preferred Candidate

You're a problem solver, excited by the unknown and driven by continuous learning. With a foundation in Computer Science, software engineering best practices, and cloud development, you’re ready to make impactful technological advancements.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in software development with Python, Spark, or Java.
  • 2+ years in data modeling or architecture.
  • Proficient in English, with effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in source control management (git).
  • Preferred: Advanced degrees/certifications, 5+ years in data systems, and expertise in GCP, AWS, or Azure.
