Opportunity: Senior Data Engineer

We are on the search for a seasoned Senior Data Engineer to play a critical role in structuring our clients' system data through sophisticated dashboards and responsive reporting. This technical role demands a robust understanding of databases and reporting, with a proven track record of delivering cutting-edge technological solutions. Success in this role comes from leveraging a blend of critical thinking, self-motivation, enthusiasm, and unwavering determination.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Director and the Salesforce Admin to dissect the existing data architecture and champion enhancements.
• Standardize data tables and optimize data cleanliness.
• Enhance foreign keys and index relationships for scalability and performance.
• Decouple transactional data from reporting data to boost application performance in live environments.
• Lead the development of innovative reports and refine existing data reporting tools.

Technical Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields, or equivalent practical experience.
• Over 5 years of experience in dynamic Data Engineering roles.
• Minimum 3 years of expertise with Azure Data Factory.
• Strong command over SQL/SSMS and SQL Server environments.
• Proficient in utilizing Power BI for data visualization and reporting.
• Experienced with ETL tools and adept at using Excel for data tasks.
• Knowledge in database normalization techniques.

Preferred Additional Skills

• Familiarity with Access or FileMaker.
