Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be entrusted with:

• Building and maintaining data pipelines on Azure
• Developing a new data warehouse on Azure
• Writing and optimizing scripts to restructure and populate data
• Enhancing current pipelines for optimal performance on Azure
• Seamlessly migrating both data lake and data warehouse to Azure
• Collaborating with analytics stakeholders to refine data modeling approaches
• Ensuring data preparation meets end-user consumption needs
• Revising data population scripts to align with new models and pipelines
• Documenting all procedures and pipelines related to data handling

Professional Experience and Skills:

The ideal candidate will have:

• 5-8 years of experience in data engineering, particularly in building professional data pipelines
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Azure services such as Data Bricks, Data Factory, and Synapse Analytics
• Proficiency in SQL (PL/SQL) and Python
• Expertise in modeling data lakes and data warehouses
• Skills in processing both structured and unstructured data
• Proven ability to understand requirements swiftly and deliver solutions
• Continual openness to learn new skills and knowledge
• Creative problem-solving skills with an effectiveness to maintain operational stability
• Eagerness to work in a dynamic, agile, and fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated experience in building data pipelines using Google Cloud Composer
