At HEINEKEN Vietnam, we're looking for a dedicated Senior Data Engineer to play a pivotal role in our D&T department, enhancing our APAC Data & Analytics Hub. This strategic position is designed to standardize and scale data foundations across the region, reinforcing our commitment to innovative solutions and technological leadership in the beverage industry.

Job Purpose:

The Senior Data Engineer will be instrumental in transforming our regional data handling, ensuring that HEINEKEN remains at the forefront of the industry with leading-edge analytics and robust technology infrastructures. You will be a crucial member of our team, focusing on research and development within the Advanced Analytics organization to pinpoint and cultivate new analytic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end process for data extraction, transformation, and storage, supporting both real-time and offline analytic implementations.
• Manage quality assurance, data migration, integration, and the deployment of analytical solutions to maximize business value.
• Further develop and maintain ETL processes, ensuring data integrity and flow efficiency across HEINEKEN’s data platforms.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of data pipelines, promoting reliable data delivery through meticulous testing and integration practices.
• Provide expert technical support in diagnosing business problems and crafting data-driven products that provide actionable insights.
• Engage in an agile team environment, fostering collaboration, continuous improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
• Drive personal growth and technological mastery, mentoring junior data engineers and staying abreast of industry advancements.

Job Requirements:

• Exceptional communication skills with fluency in English and the local language.
• Extensive experience in data engineering, particularly with Python, Spark, and RDBMS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in software development, including testing and OOP.
• Strong SQL skills with proven capabilities in large-scale database management.
• A history of successful collaboration within large development teams and robust stakeholder relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Azure, including Infrastructure as Code practices such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestrators like Docker and Kubernetes.
• A foundational understanding of machine learning models and deployment strategies.
• Keen interest in advancing skills in machine learning and agile methodologies.
