Your Profile

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a robust background in Computer Science / Engineering or a related field. If you have a GCP Professional Cloud Data Engineer certification or similar, it's a significant plus! Here are the essential skills you need to succeed in this role:

• In-depth knowledge of GCP services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub for data engineering.
• Expertise in SQL and programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala for data pipeline construction and automation.
• Experience in designing and implementing data warehousing solutions, building ETL pipelines, and using version control systems such as Git.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, cloud infrastructure, data governance, and compliance requirements.
• Superb communication skills and a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Your Tasks

As a Senior Data Engineer, your main responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform.
• Maintaining and enhancing data warehouse functionalities within Google BigQuery.
• Creating impactful insights through Looker Studio dashboards for our business stakeholders.
• Supporting engineering teams by managing data for downstream consumption.
• Continually updating our data catalog and managing cloud-based data resource access control.
