We're seeking a Data Engineer to help build and fortify these platforms.
What you'll get to do...
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, and Analytics engineering teams, gathering requirements and delivering comprehensive BI solutions.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of datasets our teams will use to drive crucial business decisions.
- Adopt and establish standards and best practices in data engineering, including data integrity, validation, reliability, and documentation.
- Build, deploy, and monitor Informatica and airflow jobs.
- Stay up-to-date with advances in cloud technologies and pilot projects to design a data architecture that scales with increasing data volume using AWS.
- Continually improve ongoing engineering processes, automate or simplify self-service support for datasets.
- Triage many possible courses of action in high-ambiguity environments, utilizing both quantitative analysis and business judgment.
Your experience should include...
- Over 5 years of experience in ETL development and Data Warehousing.
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g., Informatica Power Center, airflow) and data solutions (e.g. SQL Server, Teradata, Hadoop, MySQL).
- Experience in writing, debugging, and enhancing SQL.
- Experience with Financial Data and concepts.
- Proficiency in tuning data pipeline performance.
- Programming experience using Python, PySpark, or Java.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise between business and technical teams.
You might also have...
- A Bachelor's degree in CS or a related technical field.
- Experience with cloud technologies - S3, Redshift & EMR.
