The Opportunity:

As a Senior Data Engineer reporting directly to the VP of Portfolio Management Technology, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of Wealth Management and data domains. Your core responsibilities will involve designing and developing comprehensive data and reporting solutions that align with our overarching data strategy. Expect to define and implement data models, support reporting tools and frameworks, and ensure proper integration with transactional databases, data warehouses, and more. Collaborating closely with business units and IT teams, you will ensure the secure, innovative, and effective visualization and reporting of data across the board.

The Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Design and establish data models to optimize the management and distribution of portfolio management data.
• Develop and manage integration tools, customize databases, and configure data warehouses and analytical systems.
• Implement and administer sophisticated visualization tools including Power BI and Tableau.
• Adopt Agile methodologies to continuously refine requirements and deliver cutting-edge data solutions.
• Design and execute robust data storage models across various platforms to fulfill diverse requirements.
• Ensure stringent security measures and monitoring systems are in place across all data processes.
• Provide leadership and tactical support for data operations, including proactive communication regarding any system issues.
• Mentor and develop junior data engineering and business intelligence team members.

Your Qualifications:

• Over 7 years of experience in developing sophisticated data-related solutions and applications.
• Proficient in Wealth Management and familiar with Portfolio Management data landscapes.
• Skilled in utilizing visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau; and MS Azure tools such as ADF, Azure Synapse.
• Diverse experience with database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, and proficiency in NoSQL databases.
• Knowledgeable in multiple programming languages including C#, .Net, Python, SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ETL or ELT, and real-time data processing applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation:

An attractive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $175,000 per year, with starting salary commensurate with experience, along with eligibility for performance-based discretionary bonuses.
