Job Description

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Being the expert in the existing BI tool capabilities and enhancing functionalities continually to improve our business intelligence offerings.
• Collaborating with Lead Analyst to enforce and maintain access and data security within the business intelligence environment.
• Designing, creating, testing, and implementing operational/Analytics reports, scorecards, benchmarks, and executive-level dashboards using PowerBI.
• Developing and implementing innovative visualizations and dashboards using Power BI.
• Investigating data discrepancies and conducting comprehensive root cause analysis when reporting data is in question.
• Training other team members and communicating the delivered value of key initiatives to the broader organization
• Regularly updating stakeholders and executive sponsors on progress

Candidate Qualifications

Successful candidate’s qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a similar field.
• Over eight years of proven experience as a BI developer in both data warehouse and BI technologies.
• A minimum of five years of PowerBI Development and Administration experience.
• Highly skilled in SQL.
• Experience with ad-hoc data analysis, solution design, reporting, and dashboard development.
• Prior experience with other BI technologies like SAP BI, QlikView, and Tableau is highly preferable.
• Prior work experience on the ServiceNow platform is a big advantage.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work individually as well as part of a geographically diverse team.
