Job Details

  • Develop, document, and maintain robust processes that transform and clean data for input into live systems and analytical workflows, including reporting dashboards.
  • Model and build data products and tools that enable business teams and analytical functions to drive commercial value.
  • Combine domain knowledge with data expertise to help business teams answer difficult questions.
  • Work with end users on storyboarding data, including data visualization tools, to reach actionable insights.
  • Interface with data consumers and the claims analytics team; manage stakeholders, interpret requirements, and help shape the business’s data strategy.
  • Maintain process quality through coding best practices, including version control, documentation, and peer review.
  • Investigate and elaborate data issues to drive continuous improvement in data quality.
  • Migrate legacy processes to new data platforms.

Skills We Value

  • Solid understanding of database architecture and querying using SQL.
  • Sound knowledge of data transformation and cleaning.
  • Programming experience in languages such as Python and SQL for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Enthusiasm for accuracy with a proven track record in solving complex data problems.
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
  • Great attention to detail and a systematic approach to workload management.
  • Strong self-awareness and a drive to continuously develop and learn.
