The Role: Driving Innovation through Data Engineering

As a Senior Data Engineer at Opus Talent Solutions, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing our business applications landscape. Your initial focus will be on Mercury XRM, our dynamic CRM solution built on MS Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. This position is pivotal, requiring a comprehensive understanding of data modeling, application integration, and support mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support the technical infrastructure of our business reporting platform, utilizing tools like DataBlend for ETL processes.
  • Create and maintain insightful reports and dashboards using PowerBI to aid strategic business decisions.
  • Lead integration projects with systems such as Mercury XRM and Sage Intacct; implement solutions using SQL, JSON, Python, and Java.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
  • Advance our data management strategies, setting high standards for data model development.

Professional Skills Needed:

  • Proven expertise in PowerBI, with robust abilities in data modeling and crafting data reporting strategies.
  • Advanced programming skills in JSON, Java, and Python, and a solid grasp of API principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to project delivery.
  • Ability to convey complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with additional programming languages or integration tools is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in data architecture and Microsoft Power Platform & PowerApps.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, focusing on data engineering and reporting.
