This position is for a self-driven individual who is passionate about solving complex business challenges, developing and testing data-based applications. The candidate will be a critical member of the Payment Products development team, highly involved in hands-on activities including proof-of-concept development, and testing. The candidate should be adaptable and willing to alternate tasks based on the team's requirements.
Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a test automation framework.
Setting up, configuring, and maintaining test environments
Constructing and implementing test cases and test scenarios to certify products
Interacting with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver top-quality products and services that satisfy business requirements and expectations while utilizing the latest tools and technology.
Having a passion for delivering zero-defect code and being accountable for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed guideline defect standards.
Coordinating Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery activities, test automation frameworks, and other related tasks.
Presentation of technical solutions, capabilities, and features in business terms.
Communicating status, issues, and risks effectively, precisely, and promptly.
Conduct other activities related to research and development, data governance, security, system infrastructure, and other cross-team functions, as required.
This position has a hybrid model of working. Hybrid employees can alternate between remote and office-based work. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to operate from the office for a committed 2-3 days in a week (determined by leadership/site), broadly expected to spend 50% or more of their time at the office based on business necessities.
Basic Qualifications
• 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree, OR 5+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or over 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
• A minimum of 3 years experience testing large-scale applications using open-source technologies.
• Practical experience with Java.
• Extensive experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Java, Spark, Hive) used for large scale data processing and transformation.
• Experience working in an Agile and Test-Driven Development atmosphere.
• Experience with SQL and RDBMS.
• Displayed intellectual and analytical rigor, strong attention to detail, team orientation, energetic, collaborative, diplomatic, and adaptable nature.
• Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (like Tableau, etc.) is advantageous.
• Experience with Kafka is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs is beneficial.
• Prior exposure to financial services is beneficial.
