About the Role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Dendra Systems, you’ll have the opportunity to lead projects that influence both the product and the cultural and technical directions of our team. What You Will Do

Your expertise in building and maintaining data pipelines will be vital in supporting our AI-driven projects. You'll work closely with machine learning engineers, domain specialists, and product managers in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Your responsibilities will include deploying and scaling cloud services, primarily using frameworks such as PySpark and Ray Distributed, and managing containerised processes with Docker and Kubernetes. Your contribution will drive major advances in environmental restoration technology.

Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in Python, git, and Linux administration
• Experience with task orchestration using AirFlow
• Experience in deploying and managing cloud services; AWS experience is a plus
• Capability in scaling solutions using distributed computing frameworks
• Background in machine learning, preferably with PyTorch for computer vision applications
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerised processes
• Strong appreciation for code quality and testing
• Problem-solving skills and creative thinking abilities
