How You'll Make an Impact

• Design and implement data-driven strategies to streamline processes for efficiency and scalability.
• Architect new process flows leveraging Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Translate data transformation strategies into actionable implementation plans to meet business requirements.
• Adapt data stores in response to evolving business requirements.
• Collaborate with the Data Engineering team to create seamless data streams from WEX source systems into the Data Platform.
• Develop and implement solutions enabling Analysts to utilize Data Science tools and applications to drive improvements.

Experience You'll Bring

• BS or MS in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience that showcases your capabilities.
• Strong background in Data Analytics and Engineering, including Data Management and Architecture.
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming framework (e.g., Python, Pyspark, Spark) and one modern API framework (e.g., REST).
• Demonstrable projects or open-source contributions that highlight your passion and skills.
• Solid experience in systems engineering and automation.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and procedures.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Snowflake, and dbt.
• Experience with data tools such as SAS, Talend, or similar.
• Excellent team collaboration and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to learning and leveraging WEX’s Data Platform using documented standards and best practices.
