About the Position

Are you an experienced, analytical, and driven Senior Data Engineer specializing in reporting and analytics? If so, you might be the ideal candidate to join our Data Development & Insight team within our Global IT organization.

Our mission is to enhance our analytics and reporting capabilities, streamline processes, and explore new technologies such as AI, ML, and Automation to provide superior customer services.

Key Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the development and operation of:

• Our data warehouse, supporting advanced reporting and analytical solutions.
• Our integration platform, facilitating seamless operative integrations.
• Master data management systems.
• Driving AI-based analytical development.

Your role will require broad collaboration with key stakeholders both within IT and across the organization. Significant emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities and suitability for this role.

Required Experience and Knowledge

• Proven experience in maintaining and developing analytics platforms, particularly MS SQL Server-based systems.
• Expert knowledge in data warehousing best practices and principles, including lakehouse concepts and data mesh strategies.
• Proficiency in Azure analytics and integrations.
• Capability to provide last-line technical support for data products and analytics solutions.
• Technical consultancy in internal projects and analytical and integrative initiatives.
• Contribute to solutions architecture across platforms.
• Enhance organizational ways of working.
• Develop and manage integration and master data management solutions.

Candidate Requirements

• Strategic and architectural prowess in complex environments.
• Adaptability in high-paced settings with high expectations.
• Strong team collaboration abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining complex solutions to various stakeholders.
• Comprehensive understanding of development methodologies, security, and IT-related areas.
• Proficiency in Business Intelligence solutions, Master Data Management, Operative Data Integrations, Data Science, AI, ML, and Automation.
• Project management or team-leading experience is a plus.

Educational and Professional Qualifications

• University degree, higher education, or equivalent work experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Extensive experience with Microsoft-based solutions and Azure environments.
• Continuous learning and up-to-date knowledge of latest technologies.
• Experience in multicultural environments and collaboration across time zones is favorable.

Meriting Expertise
