Job Description

As a Senior Data Modeler, you will actively engage in enhancing our platform by working with diverse data forms and translating them into robust solutions that streamline business decision-making. Your efforts will empower our customers through improved self-serve options and faster access to reliable insights. Collaborating with analysts and managers, you'll enhance our data processing and modeling pipelines, contributing to our self-service platform with top-tier designs and structures.

Responsibilities

- Analyze and model data and metadata for ad-hoc and pre-built reporting.
- Collaborate with BI experts, analytics teams, and product management to optimize data sources and meet business requirements.
- Implement data modeling techniques to convert data into valuable outputs.
- Develop or enhance capabilities in our data warehouses and pipelines within complex data environments.
- Boost the reliability, flexibility, and scalability of our tools while uphelding top security standards in data control and quality.
- Enhance frameworks for aggregating vast arrays of raw data into actionable metrics.

Qualifications

Essential Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering or SQL/DWH development.
- Advanced skills in SQL, focusing on data structure optimization and rapid data retrieval.
- Proven track record in data warehousing and business intelligence within enterprise environments.
- Proficient in English communication.

Desirable Skills & Experience:
- Experience with cloud databases, especially Snowflake.
- Knowledge of Kimball Dimensional Modeling Techniques.
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in data analysis and modern cloud-based data pipeline practices.
- Familiarity with ETL tools and DBT.
- Additional helpful experiences include building streaming and batch processing data pipelines, programming in Java, and running continuous integration pipelines.

Compensation and Rewards

We offer a highly competitive salary ranging from 16k to 24k PLN gross per month, alongside attractive compensation packages and stock purchase options. Note that we offer employment contracts and currently prefer a hybrid working setup, with 2-3 days per week in the office.
