About the Role

We are searching for a dedicated Senior Data Quality Engineer to join our Central Technology Product Development team, supporting our Business Intelligence Reporting. This position is located in our Toronto office. The QA Engineer will focus on enhancing the accuracy of Corporate System Data and the stability of data ingestion pipelines. Effective coordination with Engineering, Product Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders is key to this role.

Job Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain testing processes for ETL workflows to ensure accurate data transformations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive testing best practices, improve overall testing efficiency, and ensure high-quality data insights delivery.
• Develop business intelligence reporting by understanding Corporate System data in Finance, Marketing, Sales, Workday, and Client Services.
• Manage critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment through multi-tasking and prioritizing.
• Participate in Agile stand-ups, iteration planning meetings, retrospectives, UAT, and production support.
• Clearly present and communicate test plans and results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 4-5 years of Quality Assurance experience.
• Expertise in writing SQL queries and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in API testing using Postman.
• Experience with Python scripting to automate testing procedures.
• Experience in Business Intelligence Reporting (Tableau and/or Informatica) is a plus.
• Experience in financial services is a plus.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Knowledge of AWS or other cloud service providers is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced global environment.
• Experience in Agile methodology, particularly Scrum, and tools like JIRA.
