Job Description

Accompanying its development, Sia Partners is recruiting Senior Data Scientist Consultants.

Their mission will be to manage, in synergy with our various practices, the tasks and assignments requiring the implementation of projects covering the entire data value chain to assist our clients in solving their problems related to:

• Data Ecosystem Management: data analysis processing, mastering data pipelines and associated infrastructure and tools

• Big Data: algorithmic knowledge for processing large volumes of unstructured data

• Statistics and Machine learning: creation of explanatory and predictive models for decision support (supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, econometrics, forecasting, quantitative diagnostics, ...)

• Operational Research: assisting in the design and implementation of optimization solutions with constraints and simulation models

• Synthetic and enlightening deliverables: production of briefing notes with a very good understanding of business issues, good ability to graphically illustrate results

As part of your operational interventions, and your contributions to the internal development of the firm, you will be called upon to:

• Manage projects from end to end, on which you will have a high level of autonomy to ensure the success of the mission, especially vis-à-vis our clients by respecting our commitments

• Supervise consultants, from junior to confirmed levels and act as a representative and relay to the manager for tracking projects, validating deliverables, evaluating achievements, and especially ensuring the correct development of their skills

• Manage the client relationship on your assignments and build a solid relationship with your client-side counterparts, at the middle-management level, so they recognize you as an expert on the subjects covered.

• Contribute to the development of business by designing and preparing commercial proposals, as well as identifying new collaboration opportunities with our clients.

• Contribute to the firm's visibility by actively contributing to the publication plan (articles, studies, etc.), and representing the firm in various professional clubs, fairs, and events.

• Develop and strengthen our offers through training, collective work, and dissemination of internal and external media

Qualifications

You have graduated from an Engineering School or have completed top-level training in information processing, statistics engineering, and econometrics and you ideally have initial experience in Big Data or Data Science.

You have an excellent level in statistics and quantitative analysis (theoretical and practical knowledge, intuition, ease of understanding models and applying them).

You master one or several programming languages scripts (Python, R, SAS, Matlab, Javascript, bash) or compiled (C++, Java) and/or have work experience on UNIX/LINUX environments. You have skills in advanced data manipulation and especially the ability to make queries in Big Data environments (Spark, advanced SQL, use of cloud storage means).

Knowledge of cloud providers' environments (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure), especially certifications, and industrialization techniques (CI/CD) are a plus.

You have already conducted end-to-end projects and you wish to get involved and quickly take on responsibilities in high-value-added assignments within a dynamic structure.
