Senior Data Science Engineer

The Sabre Air Shopping system addresses flight travel requests from travel agents, online services, and airlines, enabling their search engines and agents to provide the most convenient flight options at the lowest prices. This intricate system, comprised of several optimally developed components primarily in C++, can process over 7,000 transactions per second and is supported by more than 3,000 cloud-based servers. The intricacy of the business logic demands constant attention to code, design optimization, and keeping abreast of emerging technologies to meet the growing demand for processing power and quick response times.

Job Description:

•    Transforms raw data into valuable insights to help Sabre Shopping grow and compete

•    Interprets and analyzes data from various sources to generate creative solutions to problems

•    Suggests ideas to enhance application performance and stability.

Job Requirements:

Essential:

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, machine learning, or similar roles

• Experience with Python, Pandas, and Numpy

• Basic understanding of cloud computing (preferably GCP)

• Experience with data visualization (any Python visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn or business intelligence tools like QlikSense, Tableau, PowerBI)

• Experience with SQL

Advantageous:

• Experience with Machine Learning and statistical models
