We are looking for a Senior Data Science Manager - Ad Tech (all genders) to join the Vendor Data  tribe in our mission to  deliver consistently amazing experiences.

Short description about the team & position: 

We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Data Science Manager -  Ad Tech (all genders) to spearhead a fundamental shift to machine learning in Ad Tech at Delivery Hero. You will be deploying advanced models to solve complex problems, delivering direct and tangible value for Delivery Hero.

The Vendor Data tribe’s mission is to drive innovation, insight-driven decision making and to solve business problems through a culture of excellence and openness. The tribe comprises teams of skilled analysts, engineers, and scientists working together to deliver data solutions covering a host of business opportunities across all of Delivery Hero’s 70+ markets.

Your mission: 

• Lead a team of high-performing data scientists, foster a culture of excellence, and stay at the forefront of machine learning developments within Ad Tech.

• Act as a visionary and thought leader deploying advanced machine learning solutions to solve business problems. 

• Collaborate with a host of stakeholders across the organisation to integrate and implement the machine learning solutions.

• Foster a collaborative and open environment within the team to ensure ideas can be shared and heard. 

Your heroic skills: 

• Deep understanding of machine learning with expertise in neural network architectures and their use solving business problems.

• Strong ability to set the vision, strategy and solve problems for the data science team in alignment with business goals.

• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to prioritise and manage data science projects to ensure high quality, on-time delivery whilst championing an environment of innovation.

• Expertise with the Python data toolkit including Tensorflow, TFX, Pandas, CatBoost, DBT as well as practices.

Nice to have: 

• Experience in an Ad Tech data science team involving data science solutions to ranking, recommendations, and bidding.

• Understanding of data management and modelling, particularly its impact on data science efficacy.
