Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Science Manager, your tasks will involve collaborating with engineers, product managers, and fellow data scientists to:

  • Develop innovative algorithms essential for key product and modeling decisions.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of model development from conception to deployment, including analyzing performance.
  • Lead data explorations to augment our models and optimize data quality for projects, encompassing training, testing, and experimental data.
  • Design and conduct experiments to validate model performance and research effective metrics.
  • Present data-driven insights and strategies to all levels within the company.
  • Manage and mentor junior data science team members.

Minimum Qualifications

Prospective candidates should possess a Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related quantitative field with at least two years of professional experience in data science or computer science. Expertise in Python, R, SQL, machine learning, predictive models, and algorithms is required. Experience obtained through education, coursework, or specific job experience is valid. Telecommuting options are available.

Compensation

Salary ranges from $216,000 to $324,000 per annum, complemented by a robust benefits package designed to support the well-being of all full-time employees.
