Why Mozilla?
Mozilla Corporation is a technology company backed by a non-profit organization that has significantly influenced the internet over the past 25 years. We are the company behind innovative brands like Firefox, a web browser with a focus on privacy, and Pocket, a service for keeping up with top online content. Currently, more than 225 million people worldwide use our products every month. We believe we are shaping the next 25 years of technology, with our work covering diverse areas such as AI, social media, security, and more. However, our core focus remains the same - enhancing the internet experience for everyone.
The Mozilla Corporation is entirely owned by the non-profit Mozilla Foundation. This means we're not answerable to any shareholders — only to our mission. Alongside more than 60,000 volunteer contributors and collaborators worldwide, we design, build, and distribute open-source software, empowering people to navigate the internet on their terms.
