About This Role

In this position, you'll be central to compiling, deploying, and operating within a Security Work Area, notably focusing on an air-gapped infrastructure that promotes secure collaboration. Your contributions will enable both internal and external customers to access a broad array of Azure services securely. As part of a dynamic team, your mission will be to apply creative modeling techniques and data science practices to genuine engineering challenges, enhancing our capabilities in highly regulated industries.

Your Contributions and Impact

As a Senior Data Scientist, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of activities from understanding business needs to detailed data analysis and modeling:

Business Understanding and Impact: You will interpret the business impact of various projects, crafting data-centric strategies to drive clear outcomes and lead cross-functional initiatives to operationalize insights into sustainable results.

Data Preparation and Mastery: Harnessing your expertise, you'll ensure data integrity, prepare datasets for analysis, and maintain privacy and ethics at the forefront of data collection and preparation.

Modeling and Analytics: With advanced knowledge in machine learning techniques, from regression analysis to neural networks, you will formulate models that align with and advance business objectives, ensuring robust outcomes that reinforce our strategic goals.

Leadership and Development: Your role will also entail mentoring budding data scientists, sharing insights at industry conferences, and being a thought leader within global data science communities.

Who We Are Looking For

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field combined with extensive practical experience.
  • Proficiency in statistical programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL.
  • Experience in managing both structured and unstructured data.
  • U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance and ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background checks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degrees and additional years of data science experience.
  • Proven track record of deploying scalable machine learning solutions.
