In your role as a Senior Data Scientist, you will be actively involved in developing AI solutions for internal processes across the Market Intelligence Division. Your contributions will be crucial in creating robust new systems that enhance user experience. Your work will support our AI initiatives, driving forward business critical use cases at S&P, a world-leading data company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis efficiently and insightfully.
• Develop and implement data-driven solutions to business problems.
• Engage in model selection and determine the best fit for purpose, such as ML, cheap LLM, or expensive slow LLM.
• Collaborate on software projects across frontend and backend layers.
• Maintain Python applications in production, adhering to best practices in data management and governance.

Who We're Looking For:

• Candidates with a graduate degree in a relevant technical field and 4 to 8 years work experience.
• Strong capabilities in data analysis, model building, Python software engineering, and MLOps.
• Experience with AWS, containerization, and knowledge of the LLM landscape.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ready to engage asynchronously with global teams.
