We are looking for a skilled Senior Data Scientist to specialize in the development of sophisticated Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) models within our dynamic company. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in tech analytics, especially from sectors like dating, social media, gaming, or similar high-data environments, and a passion for making a meaningful impact through data.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

• Develop advanced CLV models tailored for our unique two-sided marketplace.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to unlock vital insights into customer behavior and revenue opportunities.
• Use complex datasets of revenue, payments, and behavioral data to drive impactful decision-making.
• Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to define key business challenges and strategic priorities.
• Manage projects across analytics engineering, data science, and MLOps, balancing tactical and strategic demands.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the creation and refinement of CLV models, leveraging detailed analytics to enhance business strategies.
• Provide actionable insights, guide meritorial techniques, and promote a data-driven culture aligned with our business goals.
• Drive forward our data science roadmaps, supporting experimentation and advocating for continual improvements.
• Adopt an integrated approach to analytics by leveraging cross-team expertise and reviewing all potential problem drivers.

Required Experience & Skills

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Information Sciences, Economics, Finance, or related field.
• Experience in high-data-volume industries such as dating, social, gaming, or financial services.
• Proven expertise in ML and statistical model construction, including demand forecasting and CLV estimation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Python/SQL, and familiarity with tools like Kubeflow, Streamlit, Looker, and Tableau.
• Strong understanding of the ML applications development lifecycle, including CI/CD, version control, testing, MLOps, and agile methodologies.
• Experience in managing data infrastructures and partnering with data engineering teams to enhance data ingestion and optimization.
