How You'll Contribute
RightEye is in search of a competent and seasoned senior data scientist knowledgeable about cloud technologies to be a part of our data science team. This role reports directly to our Chief Product Officer and is responsible for the complete development of production-quality machine learning models that can be deployed across various edge computing devices.
Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Experience in the Machine Learning Lifecycle (MLLC) including ETL, cleaning, EDA, model decision making, model development, tuning and productionizing
- Ability to apply statistical and machine learning techniques to glean meaningful insights from complex structured and unstructured data
- Capability to generalize and validate models
- Crafting algorithm prototypes based on project specifications
- Implementing changes to algorithms to enhance model performance
- Experience in taking projects from concept to production
- Running tests and monitoring model performance in production
- Troubleshooting and tackling issues with deployed ML models to improve user experience
- Documenting every step in the development process
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised ML models
- Specific experience with CNN, classification, ensemble, decision trees, clustering algorithms
- Statistical experience with ANOVA’s, regressions, ROC, uneven target groupings
- Keeping up to date with the latest developments in machine learning
- Building the necessary infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies
- Cooperating with stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams and aiding them with data-related technical concerns
- Collaborating with stakeholders like the Executive, Product, Data, Engineering, and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical challenges
Additional Information
Skill Set
- Ability to apply statistical and machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights from complex structured and unstructured data
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering or similar or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in a Data Science and Engineering role
- Proficient Python developer
- Experience with using machine learning frameworks like pycharm, pytorch, AWS SageMaker
- Experience with SDLC for machine learning (building, testing, and production deployments)
- Proven ability to build resilient, scalable, and secure code
- Experience using AWS services
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Developing data pipelines from scratch
