Job Responsibilities

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will:

  • Collaborate with practice leaders and clients to understand business challenges, industry specifics, and data intricacies.
  • Design Data Science solutions, articulating various approaches along with their benefits and limitations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans detailing milestones, timelines, ownership, risks, and contingency strategies.
  • Build and manage robust data pipelines within client architectures, utilizing tools like SQL, Spark, and big data technologies.
  • Analyze large, complex data sets to drive insights into customer behavior, operational efficiency, and other vital business metrics.
  • Cleanse, integrate, and quality-check data from various sources, preparing it for analytical processing.
  • Execute complex statistical analysis and apply machine learning techniques to generate actionable insights.
  • Document and communicate findings, contributing to client deliverables and decision-making processes.
  • Support client teams in deploying predictive models and algorithms within their operational frameworks.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-graduation professional experience in Data Science.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Excel; experience with Spark and big data frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop machine learning models and transition them from development to production.
  • Strong communication skills with the capacity to work under stringent deadlines.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, and Optimizely is advantageous.
