Job Purpose:

The Senior Data Scientist position at HEINEKEN International is a pivotal role within our D&T department, based in the APAC Data & Analytics Hub. This role is instrumental in implementing our strategy to develop standardized and scalable data solutions throughout the region. Our D&T department is at the forefront of providing state-of-the-art innovation, robust technology, and advanced analytics, giving HEINEKEN a competitive edge in line with our ambitious corporate objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D within the Advanced Analytics organization across multiple products.
• Implement software engineering best practices such as CI/CD and unit testing to enhance the reliability and performance of data science solutions.
• Design and develop predictive models using standardized value-measurement methods like A/B testing for resolving intricate business challenges.
• Maintain productive relationships with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and attainment of objectives.
• Engage in scrum sessions and achieve all targets within set scopes, potentially defining the scope and priority as needed.
• Develop and scale Advanced Analytics prototype products in high-value areas, identifying next significant opportunities for HEINEKEN.
• Focus on self-development and staying current with cutting-edge analytical methods, along with mentoring junior Data Scientists.

Job Requirements:

• Education & Experience: BA/MSc in Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field; equivalent professional experience also considered. A minimum of 3 years in a dedicated analytical or data science role.
• Skills: Proven track record in Data Science projects, mastery in Data Science and Machine Learning, strong interpersonal and communication prowess, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Python, with substantial knowledge of pandas & scikit-learn. Proficiency in both English and the local language is required.
• Desirable: Familiarity with the Azure development environment and experience in large development teams focusing on CI/CD.
