Position Summary

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will lead the development of advanced analytics, leveraging your technological expertise to enhance customer service within CVS Specialty. Your work will directly contribute to increased customer loyalty and business growth. This role requires proactive collaboration with business partners, utilizing AI innovations to deliver predictive modeling and discover actionable insights.

Your Role Involves:

• Engaging with key enterprise leaders to identify new AI applications within CVS Specialty.
• Developing data reports, statistical analysis, and performance metrics in alignment with business goals.
• Delivering presentations and strategic solutions based on analytic results.
• Exploring large datasets with advanced programming skills in Python and SQL to identify trends and recommend solutions.
• Interacting with both internal and external stakeholders to share information and updates related to your specialization.

Required Qualifications

We are looking for a dedicated professional with:

• At least 3 years of independent analytic experience with a demonstrable impact on business.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in data science, preferably within a consulting environment.
• Advanced knowledge in machine learning techniques including NLP, tree-based models, and deep learning.
• Proven ability in project management using cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exceptional ability to communicate with senior business stakeholders and a highly motivated approach to upskill in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Strongly preferred attributes include:

• An aptitude for anticipating and mitigating potential problems before they occur.
• In-depth experience in mathematical analysis, machine learning, and model deployment in real-time production environments.
• A meticulous approach, particularly around legal and compliance regulations such as HIPAA.

Education

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Engineering is required. A Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range for this role is $92,700.00 - $185,400.00, complemented by a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, life and disability insurance, PTO, free development courses, and various discount programs.
