Job Opportunity: Senior Data Technical Lead (Life/Annuity Experience, Databricks Expertise)

Our team in Dallas, Texas, is seeking a Senior Data Technical Lead to drive our data engineering and analytics ventures, leveraging extensive experience in Databricks and big data technologies on the Azure Cloud Platform.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and lead the execution of scalable data processing architectures.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes and data models.
• Write and maintain PySpark notebooks and Python code.
• Configure and manage Databricks clusters adhering to best practices.
• Mentor and supervise a team of data engineers and data scientists.
• Ensure high standards of data quality and consistency across all deliverables.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data pipelines seamlessly.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to meet project goals and manage timelines efficiently.
• Utilize strong leadership and communication skills to lead project initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience specifically in Databricks.
• Proven expertise in Apache Spark, PySpark, and Databricks architecture.
• Proficiency in programming with Python or Scala.
• Extensive background in data engineering, including ETL processes and data modeling.
• Experience in managing big data technologies on the Azure Cloud Platform.
