Senior Data Visualization Specialist at Pharmascience

Join Pharmascience as a Senior Data Visualization Specialist and lead the design of analytical solutions to transform data into actionable insights for our Supply Chain team. Be a pivotal member of our Supply Chain Transformation team, working closely with the IT Business Intelligence team and all Supply Chain members.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement data visualization reports across the supply chain function.
• Design and animate workshops to understand business needs, translating them into functional specifications and BI & AI model frameworks.
• Collaborate with the BI team to develop underlying data sources for complex reporting and BI solutions, proposing innovative ideas to stimulate growth.
• Work with BI Partners, BI Developers, and Data Architects to frame back-end requirements and build code/procedures following standard change procedures (URS).
• Create intuitive dashboards using best practice design techniques, making data easily understandable and actionable for end users.
• Validate data used in visualizations using systems such as SAP, HANA, and Analysis for Office.
• Support SMEs on self-service BI tools, data analysis, and reporting.
• Actively participate in SCRUM on requested items, including progress, milestones, and targeted delivery dates.
• Identify training needs within the supply chain community and develop training materials, catalogs, Standards & Governance for BI platforms (Tableau, Analysis for Office).
• Communicate findings, trainings, and opportunities to peers within the supply chain and higher leadership levels.
• Work closely with the supply chain leadership team to develop a KPI-based analytical framework, enhancing overall supply chain efficiency.

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

• Familiarity with BI technologies.
• Solid understanding of data quality, business processes, and underlying technology.
• Experience with scripting languages such as SQL.
• Ability to influence, coach, and train SMEs.
• Creatively solve analytical and data problems.
• Develop analytical frameworks and generate/communicate business insights.
• Attention to detail with a high aptitude for problem-solving and a natural interest in consumer behavior and business analysis.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ease in presenting material.
• Works well in collaborative team settings and as an individual contributor.
• Solid understanding of relational databases; experience with transactional systems and ERPs is an asset.
• Understanding of supply chain management processes is beneficial.
• Experience with SAP-ECC, SQL, Tableau, Business Objects, BW, HANA, Exasol, Azure, etc. is beneficial.
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset.
