Due to the rising complexity of our GPU servers, we require your server and board design expertise to comprehend the intricate functioning of the products and ensure their quality. You will gain exposure to various aspects of constructing and testing NVIDIA datacenter products, from GPUs to full system testing. Moreover, you will be responsible for collaborating with overseas manufacturing teams to enhance yields, test coverage and capacity, and lower production costs. What you'll be doing:
As part of the product engineering team, your primary responsibility will be to debug Datacenter DGX and HGX products to pinpoint factory build and field return issues.
- Conduct failure analysis (FA) on GPU baseboards and servers at system and component level
- Carry out high-speed bus signal integrity debug/characterization
- Design experiments and collect/analyze data for FA
- Ability to work under deadline pressure
- Deliver root cause and corrective action promptly
- Write detailed and comprehensive reports outlining steps taken and findings
- Ability to communicate with engineers, factory staff, and sales/marketing in the US and overseas
What we need to see:
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of working experience in a related field
- Excellent failure analysis experience on motherboards/graphics cards/servers/PCs
- Board design experience
- Proficient in Hardware/Software/Component/Process
- Strong negotiation, organization, and time management skills
- Familiarity with advanced characterization equipment, including oscilloscope, analyzer, etc.
- Ability to work effectively in teams
- Good English communication skills
The base salary range is 152,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
