Senior Deep Learning Performance Software Engineer

We are in search of a Deep Learning Software Engineer to become a part of the NVIDIA Developer Technology group (Devtech) and work alongside our engineering team on the innovative applications of deep learning for graphics and games. The Devtech group collaborates with prominent game developers, NVIDIA researchers, and driver engineers to incorporate avant-garde AI research from NVIDIA and across the industry into the gaming and 3D professionals' domain.

What you’ll be doing:

• Employing deep learning methodologies in the development of performance analysis tools.

• Utilizing those tools to enhance the performance of computer games and 3D rendering.

• Creating tools and products to assist real-time deep learning model development.

• Interacting with some of the most creative and innovative game developers globally.

• Tinkering with the latest GPU technology to devise new techniques using GPUs, creating technical demonstrations, blogging, and presenting your work at conferences.

What we need to see:

• A Master’s degree (or equivalent) from a reputable institution in fields like computer science, electrical engineering, or an allied field OR a proven background in software engineering focused on computer games or similar interactive software or high-performance deep learning models.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience and a successful history of completing complex projects like computer games.

• A fervent interest in deep learning, 3D graphics, and PC games.

• Up-to-date experience with CUDA, deep learning frameworks, and C++.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Aptitude for quickly learning new skills. Do you embrace fresh challenges?

• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).

• An intricate knowledge of GPU performance and architecture.

• Experience with DirectX, shaders, or Vulkan.
