Our worldwide clients rely on Connect data and insights to innovate and grow. As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a team of smart, highly skilled technologists passionate about learning and supporting cutting-edge technologies like Spark, Scala, Databricks, Docker, Kubernetes, and Kafka. These technologies are deployed using DevOps pipelines leveraging Azure, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Git.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and manage application components using CI/CD pipelines with Github, Jenkins, Airflow, K8S, Docker, and Microservices.
• Create, modify, and troubleshoot end-to-end CICD pipelines in Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Build utilities for monitoring and automating repetitive functions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications developed using Spark, Pyspark, Python, Fullstack, and Scala.
• Collaborate with Agile cross-functional teams, including internal and external clients like Operations, Infrastructure, and Tech Ops.
• Participate in a rotational support schedule to respond to customer queries and deploy bug fixes promptly.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience with DevOps, K8S, Docker, Big Data, Spark, Pyspark, and Scala technologies.
• Proficiency with Airflow and Databricks.
• Strong practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Azure Resource Manager Templates and Terraform.
• Expertise in Azure Databricks, Azure Machine Learning, and associated toolsets.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell Scripting.
• Solid understanding of Linux fundamentals and DevOps practices.
• Azure cloud knowledge is essential.
• Proficiency in Docker, SQL/NoSQL, Kubernetes, Jenkins, and Bitbucket/Git.
• Experience managing large-scale deployments of microservice-based applications serving users across regions.
• Knowledge of Fullstack and Testing automation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills in English, able to interface effectively with cross-functional technology teams and the business.
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
