To support this ambitious mission, we are building a robust team of skilled and talented Python Engineers within our People & Finance Technology organization. As a Senior Python Engineer, you will play a crucial role as a core contributor, helping us expand our team and drive the transformation of our insurance business.

Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Python Engineer, you will:

• Design, implement, and support data quality solutions.
• Manage data products, data contracts, and data dictionaries.
• Implement data lineage solutions.
• Support and maintain enterprise data governance solutions.
• Develop resilient distributed systems.
• Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle.
• Mentor other engineers and share best practices.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Programming experience with Python.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• API development and Spring Boot framework knowledge.
• Data management experience, including metadata management, data lineage, and data quality.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps, ADF, Kafka, FiveTran, or similar technologies.
• Intermediate understanding of Azure concepts and container orchestration services (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication skills.
• 4+ years of professional software development experience with Python.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud services.
• 2+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Annual Salary

$76,000.00 - $236,500.00

The final hourly rate/annual salary will be determined based on multiple factors, including scope and responsibilities, work experience, education and training, work location, and market and business considerations.
