The Team

International Collaboration: You will be part of an international team comprising IT Leads, Chapter Leads, Product Owners, Agile Coaches, Business Analysts, Architects, ETL DevOps Engineers, and Infrastructure Specialists. Together, we are dedicated to managing and improving the lifecycle of our Data Lake implementation while fostering an agile, scrum-based culture focused on continuous improvement.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Senior ETL Data Engineer, here's how you can contribute:

  • Strategize and manage the lifecycle of Data Lake implementations.
  • Identify and drive initiatives to address gaps and enhance team efficiency.
  • Assess and optimize end-to-fend operational processes while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional team members both locally and internationally.
  • Uphold Agile-Scrum principles within all team activities.
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and standards in Data Management.

How to Succeed

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with robust stakeholder management abilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of database design, data analysis, performance tuning, and Data Warehouse concepts.
  • Experience with data integration and ETL processes; familiarity with IBM InfoSphere DataStage is a plus.
  • Expertise in Linux or Unix operating systems.
  • Ability to translate various functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Strong prioritization skills and capacity to navigate changes in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven ability to define and refine working procedures.
  • Solid understanding of Agile-Scrum methodologies; prior experience in the banking industry is beneficial.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
