Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Hyperscience’s corporate website using WordPress, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to transform UI/UX wireframes into functional code.
  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific project requirements.
  • Implement responsive design principles for mobile-friendly and cross-browser compatible websites.
  • Optimize website performance, including loading times and scalability.
  • Stay updated with the latest web technologies and industry trends.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly.
  • Conduct regular website performance tests and monitor analytics.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team members.
  • Contribute to innovation projects with creative ideas and technical expertise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in front-end web development, with a strong focus on WordPress.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party service integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Compensation

The target base compensation range for this role is $107,000 - $161,000. Actual compensation will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, geographical location, and our business needs and objectives. Our comprehensive compensation packages include base salary, equity, and the benefits and perks listed below.
