About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Robotics Team. Our project, NVIDIA’s Isaac Robotics Platform, combines high-fidelity visual and physical simulation, an advanced development platform, and hundreds of optimized algorithms to tackle complex problems in computer vision and artificial intelligence. Our goal is to revolutionize the programming of intelligent robots.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality user interfaces for AI platforms using HTML5, CSS/LESS, NodeJS, and React
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform wireframes and designs into high-quality code
• Integrate frontend with service APIs to ensure a seamless browser experience
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, maintaining consistency across the platform
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in frontend development and implement them when suitable
• Debug and optimize UI/UX performance across multiple platforms
• Oversee integration, testing, deployment, and quality assurance

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development
• Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms like LESS and SASS
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, CORS, and modern authentication mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Experience with frontend development tools like Babel, Webpack, NPM, Vite, NextJS, etc.
• Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
• Ability to quickly adapt to varying roles and responsibilities
• Excellent communication skills and capability to work across teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio or GitHub showcasing your work and projects
• Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in the frontend development community

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $132,000 - $258,750, determined by location, experience, and similar positions' pay within NVIDIA. You will also be eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
