About You and The Role

Zipline stands at the vanguard of the logistics revolution, with our autonomous aircraft fleet delivering vital medical supplies every day, across multiple continents. With over 1,000,000 successful deliveries made, our commitment to expanding healthcare accessibility is unwavering. We are bolstering our technology to enter new markets and deliver an array of essential packages directly to doorsteps. Our talented Autonomy team is now looking to onboard a Senior Full Stack Engineer specializing in Front-End development. You will play a crucial role in creating sophisticated web-based tools for data visualization and annotation, aiding our autonomy systems in navigating complex operational landscapes seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and refine front-end visualization tools to manage and analyze autonomy data within Zipline.
• Engineer interactive user interfaces to effectively represent 2D and 3D sensor and spatial data, enhancing tool utility for our internal engineering teams.
• Create and implement robust annotation tools to help label and augment visual data, significantly contributing to in-house efforts.
• Maintain active collaboration with perception and autonomy teams to refine machine learning models on our autonomous vehicles.
• Expand backend capabilities as necessary, ensuring comprehensive coverage of front-end and back-end development requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

• A solid track record of building scalable full-stack web applications, particularly in a production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to engage closely with internal teams to design and deliver end-to-end software solutions addressing specific needs.
• Expertise in modern front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, or Next.js.
• Proficiency with backend frameworks like Django, Rails, Laravel, or Node.js for API development.
• Experience with relational and non-relational databases including MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.
• Familiarity with web-based 3D graphics frameworks like WebGL or three.js.

Compensation

The starting salary for this Senior Full Stack Engineer - Autonomy position ranges from $145,000 to $185,000, based on qualifications and experience. At Zipline, total compensation goes beyond the base salary, including potential equity, bonuses, and comprehensive benefits like health insurance, PTO, and more.
