Role Overview

Dive into the heart of Veriff and contribute to the core products enabling high-quality, scalable identity verification processes. This includes working on data annotations, machine learning, and day-to-day identity verification operations. The Verification Platform team is the backbone of our various product offerings and aims to expedite the data cycle for improving ML models. Every development we make is tightly integrated with the rest of the company. We have ambitious plans for the future and seek an experienced individual to bring leadership to our team.

Responsibilities

As part of the Verification Platform team, you’ll play a key role in designing and maintaining the product platform that serves both customers and internal engineering teams.

• Write high-quality, maintainable, tested, and efficient code using TypeScript, Python, and GraphQL.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to your peers.
• Identify and advocate for new technologies, libraries, tools, and best practices within the team and across Veriff.
• Collaborate with other engineers inside and outside the team to solve complex problems.
• Mentor and guide team members to ensure they maintain high competency levels.
• Lead architectural planning and alignment within the team.

Requirements

You are the right future Veriffian if you have:

• Long-term experience with TypeScript and React.js, ideally with Node.js, emphasizing front-end development.
• Prior experience with microservices architecture, database design, SQL, and CI/CD.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Python, GraphQL, and RabbitMQ is a great plus.
• Excellent command of English and strong communication skills.
• High level of self-organization, ownership, and responsibility.
