About the Role: Global Monitoring Data Pipeline

The Global Monitoring Data Pipeline (MDPL) is the central platform for IT systems observability signals within ING globally. Our platform standardizes the collection and processing of metrics, logs, and trace data in OpenTelemetry format, catering to numerous consumers across the organization. Within this platform, MDPL-Processing offers integration, enrichment, and transformation capabilities, leveraging machine learning models such as anomaly detection and time series forecasting. Key technologies include Kafka, OpenShift, Azure DevOps, and Python-based models.

Roles and Responsibilities

As a Senior Golang Engineer, you will be part of a global DevOps squad, working on cross-border solutions and delivering services to ING worldwide.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Golang
• Experience with Grafana LGTM stack
• Secure and clean coding practices

• Experience in a Site Reliability Engineering context
• Affinity with availability monitoring
• Knowledge of Azure DevOps and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with Cassandra, Kubernetes, Openshift, and Kafka
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design (DDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD)
