About the Role

As the senior analyst in our Global Commerce & Channels function you will be responsible for uncovering insights related to our market strategies and trading dynamics. The focal point of this role is to understand performance dynamics within our key markets across customers, products, marketing, and the onsite experience. Over time, you may shift focus to other priorities such as width and depth optimization, price point analysis, digital trading dynamics, or customer behavior trends.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Analyze internal and external data to derive holistic insight related to market-level performance drivers, identifying opportunities and risks and their implications for the business
  • Measure and analyze our core trading KPIs such as visits, conversions, customers, and our product offering and pricing
  • Deep understanding of our market intelligence tools and using this data to understand how competitor and market dynamics influence our performance
  • Partner with senior leadership in the function to develop market strategies balancing growth and profitability
  • Convey convincing, data-led narratives to highlight opportunities, being comfortable presenting these to senior management
  • Champion data within the function, working with the teams to improve skills and education on data and insights
  • Work closely with business stakeholders like the product and marketing teams to gain a deep understanding of business processes and decisions impacting market and trade performance
  • Collaborate closely with finance to understand how we measure and forecast market performance
  • Build and maintain a network across the wider data teams, especially insight analysts, the AI team and data services to foster knowledge and capability sharing

Qualifications

Who We're Looking to Meet

  • Experience in an insight role focusing on market or retail insight, preferably in the e-commerce space
  • Strong SQL and Adobe skills, experience with advanced analytics
  • Strong storytelling skills and a proven track record of shaping business decisions through insight
  • Highly numerical and great attention to detail
  • Passion for problem solving
  • Proactive approach with a love for sharing ideas and driving them forward
  • Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely
  • Good project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities as required
