Job Description

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a seasoned business intelligence architect to join our expanding team and take a leading role in corporate systems. If you are an experienced architect capable of managing and interpreting enterprise telecom data from various sources and turning it into actionable business insights, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will get to apply your business acumen in a start-up environment to analyze, predict and prescribe every aspect of the customer/employee experience, covering areas such as revenue, profitability, financials, supply chain, HR and payroll.

As IT Senior Architect for Business Intelligence & Analytics, your key responsibilities will include:

• Creating strategies and roadmaps for reporting and analytics, collaborating with stakeholders, aligning and executing with measurable business outcomes.
• Developing and deploying creative analytics solutions to support corporate systems (Finance, Tax, Accounting, Billing, Cash-to-bill, Record-to-report, Audit, HR, Payroll, and Supply Chain) using technologies like SAP SAC, DI, Google BQ, Looker, PowerBI, among others, in a multi-cloud environment.
• Delivering analytics projects from start to finish, either independently or leading a team.
• Developing and maintaining influential relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Ensuring compliance with industry standards, security protocols, regulatory requirements, and internal regulations.
• Creating advanced analytics architectures, designs, and development with an AI-first approach.
• Working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, delivering results quickly and iteratively using Agile and DataSecOps.
• Leading diverse teams to deliver insights across customer/employee journeys and process flows.
• Quickly understanding business requirements and operational needs to create business intelligence approaches that enable business transformation.
• Managing communications across business and technology teams to deliver world-class analytics and business insights.
• Assessing project risk, providing realistic timelines, acting proactively, and ensuring robust development performance and stability in production.
• Communicating project/program progress, status, risks, issues, etc. to management and stakeholders. This includes providing status updates regularly and under special circumstances.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• 10+ years of experience in creating and leading BI solutions
• 5+ of Analytics development experience using SQL and Python
• Experience with Google BQ and SAP SAC
• 2+ years of experience delivering predictive and prescriptive analytics solutions
• Significant knowledge of and experience with Corporate systems domains from an analytics perspective (Finance, Tax, Accounting, Billing, Cash-to-bill, Record-to-report, Audit, HR, Payroll, and Supply Chain) using technologies like SAP SAC, DI, Google BQ, Looker, PowerBI, among others, in a multi-cloud environment.
• Considerable experience in scripting with SQL, Python, LookML, and/or R
• Thorough understanding of data warehousing, database designs, and data architecture
• Experience with big data technologies and advanced data analytics
• Extensive experience in vendor management across multiple agreements and service support arrangements
• Ability to understand and explain complex technical information to a non-technical audience
• Collaborative team-builder with robust communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to negotiate, often at higher levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

BONUS POINTS FOR:

• Master’s degree in computer science, engineering or a related field
• Especially good if you have experience implementing systems and applications across various corporate systems areas in SAP landscape (Finance, RAR, BRIM, FICA, SCM, Success Factors, Ariba, etc)
• 5+ years of experience in creating and leading BI/Analytics solutions in the telecom domain
